HOME SOUP GROUP

There is a new fortnightly Home Group at Wilcot Vicarage.  Tuesdays at 11am

We aim to have some fun, fellowship, bible study, prayer and to see just how exciting and relevant

our faith can be.  This will be followed by a simple lunch.

SOUP AND CHEESE LUNCH - 12 noon Friday 12th September

At The Mill House, Honeystreet in aid of the Women’s Education Centre in Sudan.

We have sent money to repair a building for the Centre and are now trying to raise another £500 for equipment.  Please help us do this.

 

 

FLOWER FESTIVAL WEEKEND - 27/28th September

at Holy Trinity Church, Oare to celebrate the 150th anniversary of its dedication.

Many people in Oare will be arranging the flowers and the children from Oare Primary School will be having a day of activities to prepare for their contribution.  Everyone is welcome over the Festival weekend, and there will be background organ music at intervals from a variety of organists.  On Sunday morning there will be a special Parish Communion to celebrate the occasion at which the preacher will be the Venerable Stephen Robbins,

Chaplain-General.  Tea/coffee and biscuits will also be served during the weekend.
